Peel P50 - The World's Smallest Car

Ever wondered what the Worlds smallest road legal car is? Well probably not but it does make quite interesting reading.

The Peel P50, is recognised by the Guinness book of records as the Worlds smallest road legal car. It was advertised as being capable of seating, "one adult and a shopping bag," and was designed in the Isle of White.

Manufactured between 1962 and 1965, it cost just £199 to buy new.

Increadbly it was just 52 inches long, 41 inches wide and weighed in at 60kg. It had just one door and one headlight.

Check out the images of the tiny automobile below:

The Ferrari F40 Still Frecking Rules!

The Ferrari F40 is such a 'typical sports car'. Its like the designer asked his kid to draw a sports car and he just went with it.

For that reason its been such an icon for so many years. Its got to be near the top of every single mans dream Christmas list.

You have to agree by looking at the pictures below, that its an absolute work of art!

10 of The Best Looking VW Beetles

The German made Volkswagen Beetle has always been one of my favorite looking cars. Its unique and has never really been copied. The new model that was released by Volkswagen 1998, proves that the bug is loved by many, and in a way (even though the new one is ugly and completely different) Its great to see that it's spirit is still being celebrated.

Here are some of the best looking beetles that I have found on the internet. Some of them old, and some of them new.

Now usually I hate people sticking their own bits on cars, but this one does actually work really well! Kudos. Its borderline looking like something off a Batman film though...

The Bigfoot 5 - The Worlds Biggest Monster Truck

The Bigfoot 5 is a Monster in the Monster Truck World, and that's saying something! This bad boy is currently the biggest and heaviest in the world.

The story behind the build is actually quite interesting as well. Around the time of the Bigfoot 4, many Monster Truck owners across the globe called their trucks "The World's largest," not necessarily because it was, but just a a statement.

Bigfoot 4 owner Bob Chandler took it on himself to settle all the sillyness, and decided he was actually going to build the World's biggest monster truck.

He sourced some rather large wheels from a scrap yard and purchased them for just $1000! The wheels had originally been used by the US army in Alaska on their overland train in the 1950s.

He then set about modding his Bigfoot 4 just so it would accommodate these huge new wheels.

The truck immediately took the title of "World's Tallest, Widest, and Heaviest Monster Truck" and was eventually given official recognition of the title by the Guinness Book of Records in 2002.

Here are some snaps.
